Mini Chiller: Trouble Shooting With Microprocessor

Error code display at the 7 segment LED:

Symptoms Possible Causes Remedial Action

1. PCB display "CO" * Compressor thermal relay tripped * Reset the thermal relay and carefully

2. PCB display "PO" * Pump thermal relay tripped * Reset the thermal relay and carefully

* Terminal loose * Tighten terminal screws.

3. PCB display "FL" * Flow switch connection loose * Tighten terminal screws.

* Water volume too low * Add water into the system

* Wrong direction of water flow * Interchange power input phase

4. PCB display "HP" * Discharge pressure too high * Reset the pressure switch and odserve

the unit operation when it is restarted

* Overcharge * Contact local dealer

* Coil dirty * Clean the coil with chemical detergent

* Condenser fan does not work * Contact local dealer

* Expansion valve stuck in open position * Replace it

5. PCB display "LP" * Suction pressure too low * Reset the pressure switch and observe

the unit operation when it is restarted

* Undercharge * Contact local dealer

* Gas leak * Contact local dealer

* Water flow rate too low * Adjust the flow rate

6. PCB display " E3" * Antifreeze protection activated * Check the temperature setting

* Water flow rate too low * Adjust the flow rate

* Bubble in the heat exchanger * increase the water volume

Before you ask for repair service, check the following points
